Dokimos is the Greek word for “genuine, authentic, esteemed, approved” – authenticity is determined by weight and not by size.

Dokimos Foundation is a Non Profit Company established in 2017 with the following objectives:

Welfare and Humanitarian Relief

The provision of poverty relief through Community development for poor and needy persons and anti-poverty initiatives, including

• the promotion of community-based projects relating to self-help, empowerment, capacity building, skills development or anti-poverty;
• the provision of training, support or assistance to community-based projects
• the provision of training, support or assistance to emerging micro enterprises to improve capacity to start and manage businesses

Education and Development

Educational enrichment, academic support, supplementary tuition or outreach programs for the poor and needy.

The provision of scholarships, bursaries, awards and loans for study

Leadership development, locally, nationally and internationally based on a Christian ethos through seminars, conferences and workshops

Partnerships

To work in collaboration with other public benefit organizations and non-profit organizations that deals with similar objectives

To fund other public benefit organizations and non-profit organizations with similar objectives

Dokimos Foundation is also a registered Public Benefit Organization and Non-Profit Organization underpinned by a Christian ethos of being salt and light to the world.
