Our Story
How Dokimos Began
Dokimos Foundation is a Non-profit Organisation (NPO) and a Public Benefit Organisation established in 2017 through the generous donation of a 25 000sqm property by the Dalais family together with Dr Sagie and Rochelle Govender. The word dokimos is a Greek word for approved or something that is of the correct weight.
The vision of Dokimos is Sustainable Economic Development and Environmental Awareness through education and training that would lead to community transformation — identifying community service providers and deploying them into the community to achieve the vision.
