Welfare & Relief

Woolworths Grocery Programmes

Dokimos Ministries International, as a non-profit organisation, has partnered with Woolworths Foods for the weekly distribution of groceries. A dedicated team picks and delivers groceries to several partnering organisations, including:

  • Sahara Children's Home — domestic violence & abuse
  • Elim Old Age Home — a home for the aged
  • Latter Rain Foundation — homeless individuals & street children
  • Mzama Children's Home — care for children with cerebral palsy

Groceries are also regularly distributed to needy and destitute families across the community.

Welfare & Relief

KZN Floods & Disaster Response

Dokimos Foundation has been pivotal in providing support to community members displaced during the KZN Floods and the looting. We mobilised volunteers, food and essentials when communities needed them most.

During the floods, Dokimos Foundation donated a range of goods to the University of KwaZulu-Natal as part of their Community Engagement & Outreach programme.

Welfare & Relief

Welfare & Relief Initiatives

Dokimos supports vulnerable communities through a range of welfare and relief initiatives. We provide clean water to the local Verulam community through our borehole project, and assist Sahara Homes, a women's shelter, with clothing and groceries.

Our work focuses on restoring dignity, offering hope and meeting basic needs. Through community partnerships, we continue to uplift those facing hardship — committed to making a meaningful, lasting social impact.
